Dr Chris Cunningham
Dr Chris Cunningham, of Ngati Toa and Ngati Raukawa, is Professor of Maori Health & Director of the Research Centre for Maori Health & Devlopment at Massey University's Wellington Campus. He serves on a number of committees concerned with Maori health and research. He is currently supervising 12 doctoral students and five post-doctoral students researching Maori health and development.

Jim Mann CNZM, PhD, DM, FRACP, FFPHM, FRSNZ
Professor in Human Nutrition and Medicine, University of Otago
Jim Mann has been Professor in Human Nutrition and Medicine at the University of Otago and Consultant Physician (Endocrinology) in Dunedin Hospital for the past 18 years. His research and clinical work have principally been in the fields of lipids and carbohydrates as they relate to coronary heart disease and diabetes and in the field of obesity.

Carolyn Watts BCApSc, DPH, NZRD
Carolyn Watts is a Director of Quigley and Watts Ltd, a Wellington based company that supports organisations to promote and protect the health of communities. She also works part time as a Lecturer in Health Promotion in the Department of Public Health at the Wellington School of Medicine. Carolyn is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a varied career in nutrition-related research, health promotion, policy and clinical dietetic work.

Dr Rachael Taylor, PhD
Rachael Taylor is a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition at the University of Otago. She completed her PhD studying various aspects of body composition in children and adolescents, including the usefulness of BMI and waist circumference as indices of adiposity in children and the changes in body composition occurring during the adiposity rebound, a critical period for the development of obesity.

Professor Gregory Kolt
Gregory Kolt is Professor of Health Science, Associate Dean (Research), and Director of the Centre for Physical Activity and Nutrition Research in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University. He has undertaken extensive research in areas including health-related physical activity (in child, adolescent, and older adult populations), psychological aspects of injury and rehabilitation, rehabilitation adherence, and injury epidemiology.
